Ramya and Gunjan took us on a very interactive journey surrounding the design thinking and its importance during the pandemic. We had representation from 8 countries and 4 continents, making this a global discussion with a unique theme centered on design thinking:
Design thinking has three pillars: empathy, creativity and rationality.
Design thinking is non linear process and requires an open-minded leadership.
During the disruptive and unprecedented situations, we must innovative. However, it is very difficult to come up with a solution right away.
We discussed it is difficult to stay aligned with changes in user needs at all times during the pandemic, due to disruption. Small, medium and large organizations each have their unique set of problems in getting close to the users.
Businesses must concentrate on being nimble, flexible, constantly collect and act on feedback. Learn quickly and adapt. This is where design thinking plays a key role.
